Kamilah Moore is a dedicated Associate Attorney at Pierce Law Group LLP, where she brings her expertise in entertainment law to the forefront. She skillfully drafts and reviews a diverse array of contracts, encompassing film and television productions, talent agreements, licensing deals, and distribution contracts. Furthermore, Kamilah's role in book publishing deals has been pivotal in ensuring rights protection and maximizing potential revenue streams for her clients. In addition, she provides astute advice on corporate formation for entertainment entities, always aiming for the most beneficial business structures.

Before joining Pierce Law Group, Kamilah played an instrumental role as a Legal Manager at Funny or Die, Inc. Here, she successfully navigated negotiations with third-party vendors, agencies, and other stakeholders, consistently securing favorable terms while safeguarding the studio's rights. Her responsibilities also included overseeing the legalities throughout the production process, from script development to post-production, and maintaining legal databases and option calendars.

Earlier in her career, Kamilah enriched her legal proficiency as an Entertainment Associate at Cowan, DeBaets, Abrahams, & Sheppard LLP. Here, she offered expert counsel on a myriad of entertainment-related matters, including intellectual property rights, compliance issues, and contract negotiations. Her journey in the legal field began at Loeb & Loeb LLP, where she showcased her research acumen as a Law Clerk, assisting in general commercial litigation, real estate, and soft intellectual property matters.

On the academic front, Kamilah holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Columbia Law School, where she was honored as a member of the Harlan Fiske Stone Society and recipient of the Eric H. Holder Jr. Scholarship. She also contributed as an NFL Corporate-Legal Intern and served as a Teaching Assistant for IP Transactional Practice. In addition, Kamilah pursued a Master of Laws in International Criminal Law (LL.M) from the University of Amsterdam Law School and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Film, TV, & Digital Media, and Education Studies from the University of California - Los Angeles (UCLA), where she was distinguished on the Dean’s List and actively participated in the Academic Senate.
